ECS was established in 2001 and has its office situated in Sydney. We are committed to providing high quality electrical contracting services, specialising in process automation and systems integration focusing on our key market segments of Waste Treatment, Food & Beverage and Hazardous Area Installation.

The work we do for our customers includes switchboard design and installation, PLC programming, instrument selection and calibration, structured cabling installation, equipment installation, commissioning and problem solving.

Cost is a major consideration in any project, and we work closely with our customers to ensure that we work cost-effectively; increasingly that means being involved at the earliest stages of the project. In this way we can help shape innovative solutions that meet both financial and quality objectives. Furthermore we provide our customers with appropriate levels of support and service not only during project implementation but also during the design process.

The project manager is the central contact for all project needs and is experienced at managing complex projects. ECS provides a highly qualified and dedicated project manager to each client. In addition to helping client’s scope on project needs the project manager is responsible for:

Switchboard Design And Manufacture

ECS custom builds switchboards. We design and build Main Power Distribution Boards, Motor Control Cubicles (MCCs), PLC panels, Remote IO and marshalling Panels, Operator Interface and Local Control Panels (LCPs)  to suit our customers’ needs and budget.

As part of our switchboard manufacturing service we offer:

  • CAD layout, single line and circuit diagrams
  • Type tested (AS/NZS: 3439.1) switchboards, up to form 4b.
  • Factory acceptance testing (FAT).
  • Established purchasing relationships with all leading equipment providers delivering value for money solutions for our clients
  • Supply authority approval and certification, when required.
  • Complete documentation including test reports, as-built drawings and operating manuals and compliance documentation.
 
 
 

Industrial Control And Automation

ECS’ instrumentation solutions typically consist of instrumentation hardware delivered through services such as specification, procurement, configuration, installation, commissioning and start-up. ECS can deliver instrument packages properly applied to customer needs and include services such as end user training.

We provide state of the art process automation including machine automation and control solutions designed to increase productivity of our customers that operate in today’s highly competitive business environment enabling ease of future expansion and making possible a complete, integrated solution. Our diverse background and years of experience has been achieved by providing process automation solutions to corporate clients in the food and beverage, manufacturing, and waste industries.

Integration and process control is made possible by using leading PLC and SCADA hardware and software applications such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Modicon (Schneider), Automation Direct, CitectSCADA and more.  These technologies are implemented in the integration process based on your existing technology and your specific control needs.
